University is a fantastic opportunity to learn and to think things through for yourself: to grow as a person and as a Christian. And it’s great being able to support students and helping them not just survive but thrive. But is can be a challenging time too, living away from home and dealing with all kinds of new pressures and so we do a number of things to try and support students at this exciting time.

We recommend students get stuck in at church (just like everyone else!): that they join a small group mid-week and serve where they can on Sundays as we believe that this will equip them for a lifetime of enjoying normal church life, whether here or somewhere else. We regularly have meals together as a church family both on Sundays and during the week, where our students particulalry enjoy home cooked food and comfort.

Some people find it helpful to meet up with an older Christian ‘One2One' for encouragement and support duing their first year or two at college. We’d be delighted to fix this up for you if this is something that you would find helpful.

So if you would like to get involved, to join a midweek group, meet up with someone to read the Bible together, or to just sneak into the back on a Sunday, we’d love you to join us.
